We have one of the most advanced comprehensive and intensive dementia care assisted living programs in all of New England. Our campus features two unique memory care assisted living residences to meet the varying needs and preferences of people living with dementia.

At first glance, Briarcliffe Gardens and the Cottage Residence at Briarcliffe Gardens look and feel like two beautifully appointed homes — which they are — but they are also much more than this.

Because the needs of our residents are diverse and evolving over time, so are the services and care we provide. Some of our residents simply need to be in a safe, secure environment where medications are managed and administered, delicious and nutritious meals are prepared and served, and laundry and housekeeping services are provided. Others require reminders or assistance with personal care (including bathing, dressing, and/or incontinence management). Some have more serious health conditions that require the skills of our Professional Nursing staff and Dietician.

Because of our understanding of the varying needs of those with memory loss challenges, and our experience with the continuing care concept, we can ensure that each person receives the care and support that they need to live their best life both now and in the future.

At Briarcliffe Gardens we maintain a comprehensive Memory Care residence with staffing and programming to care for residents across the full spectrum of memory care conditions. Our trained professional staff includes all housekeeping and comfort services, as well as licensed medical personnel, including registered nurses.

We also have rehabilitative assisted living for those with short-term needs associated with a medical procedure or condition.
