Benchmarked, Verifiable Results are the Hallmark of our Rehabilitation Program at Briarcliffe Manor

Briarcliffe Manor scores 93.2% “Percentage of short-stay Residents who improved in their ability to move around on their own” versus a national average of 75.1% and a Rhode Island average of 77.5%. Additionally, Briarcliffe achieved a score of 74.7% versus a national average of 46.1% for another significant quality measure- “Percentage of Residents who are at or above an expected ability to care for themselves at discharge”. Briarcliffe is five star rated for overall quality. This quality care is benchmarked, verifiable and available for all to see on the federal government website (ratings as of September 6, 2023). The five star rating places Briarcliffe Manor in a very select group of highly ranked nursing homes nationally as well as in the state of Rhode Island.
Over the last sixty years, Akshay Talwar, CEO of Briarcliffe says, “a lot of things have changed.” He says years ago, people used to come to Briarcliffe for long-term living. Now, people utilize Briarcliffe for short-term rehabilitation care. It’s gratifying to see them recover and return home.
