- Our rehabilitation clients have lengths of stays lower than national and regional averages, which means that you get to go home faster.
- Our integrated nursing and therapy teams are the best around. Briarcliffe Manor scores 93.2% “Percentage of short-stay Residents who improved in their ability to move around on their own” versus a national average of 75.1% and a Rhode Island average of 77.5%.
- Briarcliffe achieved a score of 74.7% versus a national average of 46.1% for another significant quality measure- “Percentage of Residents who are at or above an expected ability to care for themselves at discharge”.
- Our re-hospitalization rates are lower than national and regional averages because our integrated therapy and nursing teams achieve superior outcomes, which means you get to stay home.
- Briarcliffe is five star rated for overall quality. This quality care is benchmarked, verifiable and available for all to see on the Medicare Website (ratings as of September 6, 2023). The five star rating places Briarcliffe Manor in a very select group of highly ranked nursing homes nationally as well as in the state of Rhode Island. We also have the honor of consistently being ranked as a BEST Nursing Home by US News and World Report.

The Concierge Care Management Approach
Upon admission, we pair you with a Concierge Care Manager who becomes your single point of contact. Your Concierge Care Manager will follow your progress throughout your entire rehabilitation stay and keep you and your loved ones informed along the way. Your Care Manager will also arrange for discharge services you may need to be successful at home and will contact you once you are home as an added layer of support.
Passionate, Dedicated Skilled Therapy and Nursing Professionals
Our licensed Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapists provide rehabilitation services seven days a week in the setting most appropriate for your course of treatment (e.g., your room, our rehab gym, or in in one of our lovely, outdoor courtyards). All of our therapy professionals are experts in their respective fields and are Briarcliffe Employees (not hired contractors).
Our Nursing Team consists of experienced, caring and dedicated professionals who will support you through your stay with us.

Chose to stay here for 2 weeks because of the excellent physical therapy and occupational therapy department. Ended up being an amazing stay with very caring and dedicated staff a super clean facility and amazing food.
